Grandma Jo's Liquid Goat Milk Soap
This luxuriously lathering soap is handmade here on our farm with fresh milk from our own goats, sapronified coconut and olive oils and is scented with real essential oils. We chose to make liquid soap because that is what our family prefers to use, both for handwashing and in the shower.
Goat milk soap is beneficial to the skin for several reasons. It's PH is closer to that of human skin, so it can protect the skin from daily bacterial and chemical invasions. Goat milk soap sloughs off dead skin because of the alpha-hydroxy acids found in the milk, leaving the skin feeling smoother and softer. And it can benefit people with sensitive skin because it doesn't contain additives like alcohol, petroleum and preservatives.
